Ukraine and Lithuania are committed to further development of interparliamentary relations and exchange with experience in development of parliamentarianism and reforms.
This was stressed by First Deputy Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada Andrii Parubii and Deputy Head of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania Gediminas Kirkilas at their meeting on Thursday, May 28.
Parubii noted that efficiency of work of the Ukrainian Parliament, political unity of the parliamentary coalition are the pledge for success in the process of launched reforms in all sectors of country life and its security.
The parties discussed the situation in Ukraine.
Gediminas said the Ukrainian politicians now must retain their unity and conformity of their positions.
The parties also discussed cooperation between the two countries in the field of education.
